Manuel Botta

I recently finished my PhD and thus I'm thrilled at the opportunity to bring my expertise in material sciences and passion for battery materials to the Industry. Over the course of my studies, I specialized in the field of inorganic and material chemistry where I gained profound knowledge in a diverse field of production and characterization methods of solid-state materials. In my PhD I specialized on the synthesis and characterization of novel sodium based ASSB materials for high-end technological application. Herein, I became an expert in X-ray diffraction methods as well as spectroscopical material characterization methods like solid-state NMR, RAMAN and IR. In the following workflow I gained experience on electrochemical material testing in Impedance and CV measurements. Besides the subject-specific knowledge, I gained profound leadership skills by the supervision of several practical courses and hosting four internships and a masters thesis student involved in my project.
