Managing performance and development of the local supply chain, i.e. sourcing, purchasing, project management and warehousing teams in China. Reporting to local GM and global SC lead. Developing subordinates into supply chain experts, empowering them to proactive, self-motivated task fulfillment (e.g. superior material costs, mitigation of supply risks, and on-time delivery).

Managing the purchasing team for plastics spent, i.e. injection, extrusion, resins, and moulds, with a total yearly purchasing value of 200 million USD. Reporting in a global matrix organisation. Constantly achieving cost down targets of more than 5%, supplier portfolio improvements, second sourcing solutions, and material quality improvements.

Managing the ramp-up of a new production site in China, and the corresponding transfer of material sourcing and production from Europe. Reporting to the Global Head of Purchasing. Ensuring international quality level and on-time delivery, while generating material, shipping and handling cost advantages, identifying and developing trustworthy local suppliers.

Supporting strategic projects for FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Chemicals customers at first, later taking responsibility for the implementation of global planning projects at Automotive, Electronics and Machinery companies in Germany, France, India, and China. Reporting to Partner level. Building-up the 'China' workgroup, enhancing the company's business possibilities in Asia.
