Member of the senior management team for a cluster of companies managed under the Al Wahdania Group (UAE, Iran, Iraq, Iraqi-Kurdistan, Afghanistan, Kosovo and a joint-venture partnership with the Chinese National Tobacco Company). Responsible for handling all spend categories related to cigarette manufacturing across eight factories in the Middle East (~$100 mil/year) within a global supply network (land, sea, air): Asia, Europe, Middle East, Americas.

• Handled all spend categories related to dairy production across two factories (~€15 mil/year). • Led cost saving initiatives and spend category management within Procurement department that resulted in an average net savings of 3-4% per year. • Managed change, coaching and developing talent in an age and language diverse environment. • Managed risk while constantly dealing with a high degree of complexity and ambiguity in a very dynamic environment.
