Owner of Neonbase Ltd a UK company provide engineering and IT consultancy services to Automotive Industry. Responsibilities included leadership, sales & marketing, financial accounting and reporting, legal and UK tax filings.

Working out of Shirely UK - Responsible for Fiat and Opel advanced radar vehicle braking systems, Renault and Nissan electro-power steering for vehicle CAN networks, CAN communications, positioning and g-sensors for safe fail analysis (Software / Network FMEA) and vehicle diagnostics including software release and validation testing.

Working out of Dunton UK - Responsible for the development of B, C, CD and MPV class vehicle body control units, diagnostics, CAN networking, FEMA sign-off and (FACTS / eCATS) vehicle launch and “gate-release”. Support warranty claims, workshop diagnostics and vehicle recalls. Co-wrote the Ford CAN diagnostic CAN eOBD specification for US regulations.

Managing a team of business consultants and Y2k specialists for the Year 2000 readiness for 9 separate Operating Companies of the Petronas Group (Malaysian State Oil Company) and joint venture partners including Shell, StatOil & MISC.

ERA UK - Providing Y2K solution projects, technical audit assessments, date verification testing, training programs and contingency planning for Natwest, B&Q, BAE, Railtrack, Docklands Light Rail, SingTel, Singapore Hospitals, SMRT Trains and Western Digital + their suppliers. Responsible for customer quotes and project execution and deliverables. Managing a team of 5 consultants and part owner of the MOPAS Project Management Methodology.

Responsible for the design, development and homologation for the complete range of electromechanical components, EMI/RFI filters, switches, fuse holders and fuses. Creating and developing brand portfolios, establishing pricing strategies, design of technical marketing material, product sheets, catalogues and benchmarking competitors. Manage special project for Pitney Bowes, Neopost and Alcatel-Lucent.

Remanufacturing of production fallout for IBM and Compaq computer motherboards to component level, express warranty repair of notebook computers and Orange Motorola mobile phones for Orange.

Managing a work force of 250 operators, 25 test technicians, 3 QC inspectors and 6 Repair Engineers for the manufacturing of prepaid electricity metering and licensed automotive components from Kickert for door modules, VDO clusters, Bosch wiper and headlight relays to Conlog vehicle speed control systems, air conditioning components and high volume car alarms and engine immobilisers for the South African OEM automotive market and exports to the EU.

Development of marine systems for complete naval vessels including submarines for navigation, command & control, cabling and power management. Other projects included flight training simulators, large scale industrial automation for SABMiller and Rand Water for measurement and control, New Product Development for IT hardware used in pipeline telemetry, mining systems, railroad systems, toll road systems, low cost medical ECG systems, GPS Tracking systems, pre-paid electricity metering and TV setup boxes.
