René Normann Christensen

I am P & L responsible for the DACH region, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

I am the Managing Director for Linpac Packaging for the region North West Europe. I am in charge of 2 companies with a total of more than 300 employees. My main focus is on business turnaround or reengineering. I have now worked for close to 12 years in countries such as Switzerland and Germany.

Sales Director for the business in charge of reorganizing the business and develop a stronger foothold in the market.

As the MD of the business I was in charge of turning the business around from a loss making position to one of the most profitable businesses in the packaging market. It also included changing the management team. In total I worked 11 years for Danisco Amcor of which 8.5 years were in Switzerland.

As Sales Director of the company is was in charge of streamlining the the business this included bottom-slicing the customers and products. We created a customer driven organization focussed on a limited product range. My responsibilities also included running the biggest account of the company.

My responsibilities included running the finance, IT, costing and shipping departments. When I joined the company the business was still owned by Danisco and I was a part of the process of selling it to Amcor.

I was the controller of the sales department which was organized centrally. Implemented the business intelligence system SAS.

I was the head of the finance team/department which was managing and consolidating the accounts of 3 production units and 14 sales companies.

I started as an apprentice and after 2 years I became an auditor. We were auditing small and medium sized companies up to large group quoted on the stock exchange.
