The main focus of my research is the development of spatial statistics based data analysis methods for chemical datasets. Applications of this work include the evaluation and optimization of tools and algorithms in virtual drug screening and compound library design. In cooperation projects, I support bench scientists in medicinal chemistry projects. Using state of the art computational chemistry software, I enhance the drug design process by rational suggestions for synthesis.
