Frequency Estimation project:speed of a moving object is calculated from change in the reflecting frequency according to Doppler Effect. Frequency is calculated in general with Fourier transform. However, this has a limited number of bins and produces frequency resolution in the MHz using a sampling rate in the G band. A big challenge rises when it is required to calculate a change in frequency in the kilo range which is ~10e-5 less than the bin size to reflect slow to high speeds

Radar Ramp Generation: measure speed using linearly sweeping frequency. Difficulty in producing a frequency sweep that is highly linear to minimize distance measurement errors. It on a VCO which is controlled by binary output of a digital to analogue converter. Each one has a current sources with a minor manufacturing error and drift. Error has to be calibrated. Dynamic sweep adjusted based on the error provided.

Multi Variant Analysis: Measurement of Azimuth angle of the radar has an Error that is influenced by different parameters in an unknown way. My task is to model this error and its underlying components from different parameters. I made a Factor Graph of parameter dependencies and estimated the probability density function of one parameter on the other using cross-correlation and covariance matrices. I calculated Effect of different parameters on each other using Factor Graph laws.

I installed a Linux (CentOS) telephony (Asterisk and Freeswitch) server together with Kamailio (Openser/Opensips) and setup different user data. For users laying behind a Nat router to connect to the server properly, I set a Stun server and tested it, accordingly their calls went smoothly. Video Calls are correctly transmitted over the server

Project Description: The project was a part-time freelancer job. The task was to develop a new firmware with open source software with special features. The new is that the router has to operate as a telephony gateway; landlines calls should be routed over the Internet to a VOIP server automatically. In this project I developed a new firmware in Linux and compiled it from the beginning, shell scripts and undocumented driver parameter were understood in order to use the correct control bus.
