The ISD unit of SGRE CT was responsible for around 100 Information Systems Development people in Europe, with employees distributed in teams in Denmark, Germany, and Spain. ISD employees were vital resources for developing digitalization, central systems & power plant products of SGRE globally. Since 2019, I have been a core member of our Lean-Agile Center of Excellence, leading the transition of our organization towards more business agility, since May 2020 as a certified SAFe program consultant.

Siemens Wind Power GmbH & Co KG was a subsidiary of Siemens AG, and since Apr 2017, a part of Siemens Gamesa Renewables Energy. - Led the SCADA software development unit with over 70 employees in Denmark, India, and Germany. - Oversaw all SCADA products and the budget for the cost center. - Played a critical role in merger activities and strategic projects for our SW development.

The SCADA department (WP TE SES SCA) was an international software development unit with more than 70 people internationally distributed in teams in Ballerup and Brande in Denmark, Bangalore in India and Hamburg in Germany responsible for the R&D activities for SCADA software and other autonomous software components in Siemens Wind Power supplying products, solution and services to both onshore and offshore wind power plants globally.

The Section Software and SCADA (WP TE TS SWS) was responsible for the Engineering and R&D activities for SCADA and Software in Siemens Wind Power, supplying products, solutions, and services to wind power plants globally. It was an international organization with headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, and over 200 employees in departments and teams in Denmark, India, and Germany. - Managed R&D projects, resources, schedules, processes, and budgets. - Fostered employee skill development & continuous improvement.

- Directed the R&D unit of Siemens Numerical Control Ltd., Nanjing, CN, with an annual budget of over 10 Mio EUR & more than 150 people, responsible for developing products for factory automation & motion control, focusing on emerging markets; - Initiated, aligned, led, and successfully implemented the lean transformation of PLM. - Aligned our R&D strategy & vision with corporate goals - Led innovation with external (universities) and internal innovation partners - Improved our processes in alignment w. HQ

EUR and 45+ employees (own + external), developing: - electrical drives, - power supplies and - and “green” products (Photovoltaic Converters, a Wind Turbine electrical Pitch Drive System, E-Car charging components, E-Car electrical drive power module)
