- Design and implement the R&D strategy deployment to manage the execution of the E&P R&D portfolio activity of Repsol in Brazil and USA (includes IP, legal, tax, HR, etc aspects). - E&P Technology Project Portfolio management. - E&P Technnical Service provision coordination with Repsol E&P bussiness units worldwide. - Design and execution of technology deployment and commercialization strategy. - International outsourcing contracts negotiation and contract management.

- Management of the department. - Implementation of the R&D Strategy (Upstream, Downstream and New Energies) through the negotiation and establishment of the required scientific outsourcing contracts and technology cooperation agreements with technological providers and partners. - Design and implement the strategy for maximizing the R&D public funding for the R&D project portfolio of the Technology Direction of Repsol (European Commission and Spanish Government funding).

- SAP/ERP implantantion project manager in the Technology Direction. - Client services agreements follow-up established with IT Division.

- Identification of R&D collaborative project initiatives and funding opportunities supported by the European Commission (FP7, FP6, IE, etc) and the Spanish Goverment (CDTI, Ministry) funding programmes. - Institutional relations coordination with mentioned organisms. - Auditing reports presentation to said organisms. - Negotiation of the scientific contracts and collaboration agreements with technology providers.

Auditing the technical and cost execution of R&D projects already funded by the Technology Center for the Industrial Development - CDTI (Science and Technology Ministry) according to the approved working and budget plans.
