Launched in January 2016, Rakuten Europe Bank continues the diversification of Rakuten in Europe and provides financial services to its members. Rakuten Europe Bank S.A. is a fully licensed credit institution established in Luxembourg and supervised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier.

Hired to build state-of-the-art Risk Management system for European mobile payment solution Yapital, fully owned subsidiary of Otto Group, one of the world's largest multichannel retail companies with over $15B in revenue.

Served on Executive Leadership Team, responsible for global Risk Management of mobile business platform ‘ZNAP’, flagship product of Hong Kong-headquartered start-up MPayMe Ltd. (acquired by Powa Technologies in 2014).

Tasked to build out Symantec’s global e-commerce Risk Management function (previously outsourced to Digital River) for world’s 4th largest software company with over $6B in revenue.

Charged to lead PayPal’s international business expansion and licensing efforts from Risk Management perspective by developing and implementing respective programs in Europe and APAC, resulting in quadrupled revenue growth of over $5B and over 120M active users in 175+ markets with $8M in daily payments in 26 currencies.

Held responsibility for ERM and Risk Management function of paybox.net AG, the first large-scale mobile payment service provider in Germany, Austria, Spain, Sweden and the UK (funded by Deutsche Bank and subsequently acquired by Sybase, which was eventually integrated into SAP). Key Contributions:
