Thesis Topic: Design and Merger of Two Company IP Networks. Tasks: • Selected DM-VPN with Performance Routing (MPLS/Internet) as the WAN solution for the merger using Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers. • Responsible for analyzing and organizing overlapping Private IP ranges between the existing and future sites to be merged into the core network.

• Implemented network design, provided technical consultancy and managed Installation, Commissioning and Integration teams. • Technical Documentation (HLDs/LLDs). • Configuration plans of router and switches (Juniper EX 4200, Cisco 2800 series, Cisco 2960) & Implementation. • Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments. • Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages. • Practical experience in TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, Trunking, VLAN Tagging, DNS, DHCP Firewall.

 Responsible for optimizing both 2G & 3G networks to achieve KPI targets on cluster/city/regional level through soft/hard optimization.  Monitored KPIs and recommended trials, parametric or design changes accordingly.  LTE drive test/walk test using TEMS investigation and coordination with OMC for adding missing neighbors and other activities needed.  Identification of faults and issues during the drive test (HO Failure, PS Drop, Swap, Bad SINR, Neighbor Missing).

 Calculation and Analysis of KPIs, KQIs & KEIs and generation of reports based on this analysis.  Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Quality Reports for complete network (NSS & BSS), including all vendors (Motorola, Alcatel, Huawei & NSN).  Validating the site configuration in the field during the technical site survey visit and preparing the Technical Site Survey report.
