This exciting role allowed me participating in supplier selection process, qualifying potential suppliers, monitoring quality performance and coaching suppliers to fulfil company project needs. I was also responsible handling supplier change requests and managing the supplier quality agreements. I had built a close corporate relationship with suppliers and liaised to communicate quality issues and drove continuous improvement.

As customer's fist point of contact, I had to ensure our products meet quality requirements and timely reflected product quality issues raised by customers to management teams. A closely followed-up and delivered effective solutions to customer requests are key to build a strong and healthy business relationships. Customer account management for global semiconductor and chip manufacturer companies, product including FCCSP, FCBGA, FCLGA, and ETS (embedded trace substrate).

I learned how to process and response to customer inquiries effectively and with satisfactory. Negotiated and discussed customer’s specifications and requirements to ensure our factories deliver quality products. I provided technical and quality supports and solutions to not only customer's quality department but their R&D and purchase people. I prepared and updated all necessary quality reports such as yield improvement plan and nonconformity reports as required by customers.

It was my first job after college and I felt really lucky to work as a new product developing role which allowed me to discuss not only the design features but the production processes with my clients. I acted like a project manger and frequently discussed product specifications with our American clients and our process engineers in China factories. I must keep track on the project schedule to ensure our first article was delivered on time or even better than the planned schedule.
