As the only intern in the office, I worked with several senior engineers and started by learning the nomenclature from articles that were given to me. Later on, I made a presentation about emerging trends in distributed generation and another one about Organic Rankine Cycle. Lastly, I prepared a progress payment document by using a pre-built Excel document and further improving it.

During my summer practice in Process Management Department, I had a chance to observe how a company works, what mechanical engineers are working on and their value to the company, and lastly how the office life is going. I have done the analysis of G-Code for CNC Machines in the factory, tried to improve the time efficiency of these machines and processes, documented data in MS Excel, and observe CNC machines during the day.

THESIS: Traffic Light Detection and Mapping for HD-map Creation // Analyzing the literature on the object detection deep learning models, training them with different configurations on a large dataset, making changes to the models, and introducing multilabel detection capability to the Detectron2 framework were some of the tasks that I accomplished in the development stage. Utilizing RGB images, corresponding disparity maps, and GPS data, a final map of traffic lights is obtained.
