Setting up and managing enviConnect, a consultancy that delivers rapid and focused R&D for renewable energy & environmental science applications.

I coordinated the southern German wind energy research cluster, WindForS. Together with the 25 member groups I developed and implemented a new strategy centred on communication and community building that allowed us to develop new, high-impact projects. I represented WindForS at events internationally, helping raise awareness and connect WindForS to its partners.

I led a group of experts in supporting U.S. and international deployment of wind and solar energy. We provided data and services to the U.S. Department of Energy, other government agencies in the USA and internationally, and provided leadership to standards bodies. We partnered with private industry to develop new technologies for resource assessment, forecasting, and many other applications where accurate and reliable data about solar or wind resources on land and offshore are essential.
