• Full-vehicle electromagnetic simulation of Remote Keyless Entry, digital radio, navigation and Tire Pressure Monitoring systems, using models from different manufacturers • Antenna prototyping and extensive anechoic chamber and field measurements for simulation validity verification. Achievements: Co-authored the conference paper ‘Comparison of Key-Fob Antennas for Vehicle Access System’ presented at the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation on November 2007 in Edinburgh, UK

• Design and test of passive beamforming feed networks for a smart antenna array demonstrator used for the European global positioning system Galileo. Achievements: Co-authored the conference paper ‘Beamforming Analysis on a Broadband Antenna Array for the Galileo System’ presented on July 2006 at the 2006 IEEE AP-S International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

• Design, optimization, manufacture and measurement of a planar antenna array for fourth-generation (4G) mobile communications base stations as part of a five- member international team

• Contribution to the process definition and documentation for the launch of the ‘Avaya Global IT Customer Care Center’ with agents in Mexico, Brazil, Belgium, Israel, and Singapore

• Network infrastructure troubleshooting over the phone and online for Cisco Systems clients worldwide
