Integrating the technical cable management team into my existing team creates a diverse and highly skilled engineering team with unique potential for effective know-how transfer across all different levels of expertise and skills. Process optimisation, streamlining R&D, developing product champions amongst our sales team and balancing the necessary work on strategic goals with the day-to-day support and timely delivery of designs for large construction projects now represent a large part of my role.

My role features an extended focus on team building, identifying &delivering potentials for increased productivity, improving & implementing new processes, developing sets of standardised KPI reporting tools and monitoring multiple R&D streams across the diverse product range in a highly multi-cultural landscape.

My role covers strategic planning, implementation, measurement and control of strategy, financial and business management for the technical product and design service aspects as well as personnel management for the engineering team. My responsibilities include feasibility studies for new product developments or service offerings, the delivery / implementation of these including target and KPI setting, active participation in standards committee, change management and team leadership.

Working first a few years on my own and later building and leading a small engineering team with direct report to the CEO, we provide technical support to installers, consultants/specifiers and water utilities, R&D of new products, Creation & Delivery of training programmes, Active participation in AUS and NZ standards committees, Work with local suppliers to safe-guard product quality & compliance, Managing & updating all product certifications & Handling product claims including site investigation

I am responsible for radiant heating& cooling and plumbing systems. My role includes: - Customer support - Content creation & revision of external installation manuals - R&D of standard products incl. preparation and delivery of papers to senior management to gain approval / release of funds - Creation of software applications - Standards research & Compliance - Leading engineering team (from Mar 2003 onwards)

I am covering the product areas of polymer Compounds, Customised Profiles, Mouldings, Silicone Elastomer products and Tubing & Hoses. I am responsible for customer developments, material approvals, factory support, complaint handling. and gain valuable expertise in polymer profile and moulding design.

I am responsible for performance tests on new aerospace components and composite materials. My role includes preparing, performing, evaluating and reporting of high-temperature tests in vacuum. I lead the construction, commissioning and operation of a large, unique infiltration facility capable of generating the required conditions of 1400°C and nearly perfect vacuum to allow the liquid silicon to infiltrate and react with the green carbon body.
