Dr. Gennaro Mozzillo

Management of the engineering team and monitor suppliers, in both European and Chine branch, is the main task. I supervise and approve the production process of our products, from procurement to quality control and, in case, manage technical claims. I personally conduct tests for evaluating performances and commissioning tests on final product worldwide achieving the recognition of my technical and practical skills by worldwide customers.

I lead the R&D activities regarding new fans for marine and industrial applications at project management level. I follow all the essential steps related to the research project, from the theoretical aspects to the most practical one involving cost estimation and saving, with the goal to achieve the best solution. I provide technical guidance to other personnel. I am the focal point for the supplier-customer relationship management and I prepare and deliver technical presentations to worldwide customers.

Investigate and analyse service events for the aircrafts and technical component issues, identifying the root cause and proposing troubleshooting according risk assessment evaluation, airworthiness documentation and safety requirements. I was in charge to review all the service events on monthly basis with the goal to draw up guidelines for aircraft accident prevention; and to measure and monitor the ongoing project activities against the project management plan and performance baseline.

I have contributed to the GA roadmap project-and detailed requirements for the EASA GA website page. I have also assisted in the planning of workshops with international stakeholders and presented progress summary of the project plan. I was responsible of the management of an information system CIRCABC and I have trained the EASA personnel to the use of this. Supporting the Certification Structures Expert Section, I created a cross reference database between European and FAA regulations.

I have developed a technical research project focused on the study of fatigue on aeronautical structural elements made of composite materials and on the development of numerical models to predict structure damage. This experience allowed me to play active part in European research projects, writing reports, showing my work and attending the consultative meetings. I had teaching experience and managing classrooms of bachelor students in analytical mechanics, structure science and aerospace structures.
