Based on the Business Architecture, I’m responsible for evolving the Target IT Architecture by ‎optimising the legacy infrastructure while taking advantage of new technologies such as ‎digitalisation, mobile, cloud, and blockchain. The Target IT Architecture and the associated technologies are selected and implemented in ‎collaboration with Solution, Domain and Enterprise Architects from all IT Portfolios including: ‎Bank Mgt., Marketing, Deposits, ‎Money Transfer, Capital Market, Investment and Trading.

IBM Executive responsible to build and lead a team of Cloud advisors, who identify comprehensive, innovative Cloud solutions and become a “Trusted Advisor “ to the client. Implemented Bluemix local at UBS based on the IBM hybrid Cloud strategy, Advised Finanz Informatik to build an innovation center and become the preferred IT partner for 400 saving banks by providing the FI API ecosystem and new “Born in the Cloud” development, Directed new Cloud architecture and related middleware deployment at HSBC.

Introduction of IBM components for the Credit Suisse “Digital Private Banking” Program, Developed a new payments processing architectural blueprint, by introducing “stateful” processing, canonical format, tracking capability and separating client- and street side processing, Architected the integration of “Clear2Pay” on Credit Suisse premises as a managed service, Drove the Agile Development Initiative to improve software quality in the Equities IT Department of the Credit Suisse IB in New York,

European payments consultant for IBM in Russia, Germany, UK, Norway, Poland, Denmark, Japan, USA and Switzerland, Lead Architect in engagements with PostFinance, Equens SE, BNP Paribas and MIAG for financial messaging processing, Implemented a financial messaging hub and SWIFT gateway demonstration environment for IBM Global Payments CoE in La Gaude, Led a joint effort between IBM and SWIFT in the technical development supporting a proposed new business model in financial messaging for Citibank London.

• Composed comprehensive technical solutions that solved the business and IT challenges for key customers including Credit Suisse and UBS. These widespread solutions translated the business vision into specific technical solutions that integrated into the IT environment and leveraged the best technology available from IBM and other vendors, • Overall responsibility for the feasibility of technical solutions and supported successful deployment IBM software products.

• Lead architect for designing a SIC and SECOM (Swiss financial market specific messaging) extension for the IBM WBI-FN product together with the IBM Lab in Boeblingen and the Business Partner Fundtech/BBP, • Developed solution designs for the Credit Suisse "Message Broker" project and for the UBS "Inter Change Server (ICS)" project including financial instruments such as EBA step 2 and File act.

Leader of the Workflow Work Group: Defined a universal micro flow application architecture in the “Strategic Solution Program” (SSP) at UBS, Co-leader of the On-line Architecture Work Group in SSP at UBS, Lead IT Architect & PL to integrate a Reuters portfolio mgmt. system within Credit Suisse, Lead architect in a 120-person project team for designing the system and application architecture for a bookkeeping system, developed in Java running under CICS with DB2 and MQ on IBM Mainframe at Dresdner Bank.

Advisory IT Specialist in the Smalltalk Server Product Development Team (Raleigh, NC, USA) • Lead developer of VisualAge for Smalltalk Server integrated development and run time environment for z/OS, AIX and Microsoft, with subsequent consulting engagements at Dresdner Bank, UBS, Credit Suisse, etc., • Applied insights from customer experiences and requests to product design and initiatives, • Product developer for VisualAge for Smalltalk Release 4.0, 4.01, 4.02, 4.5 and 5.0.
