As a part of the Bioinformatics solutions team at BlueBee, my responsibilities include (but not limited to) - Assembling, configuring, optimising, benchmarking, and/or implementing NGS based solutions, E.g.: Oncology related analytical pipelines. - Creating and testing methods for the reference solutions, E.g.: RNAseq based fusion detection. - Provide scientific consultancy to some of the (clinical, (bio)medical) customers as well as various departments within BlueBee.

As a part of the computational biology department, my responsibilities included: -Coordinating the scientific projects between computational biology department and other departments such as diagnostics and R&D. -Assisting in planning and execution of clinical validation and verification of new and existing assays for diagnostic purposes. -Processing and interpretation of large oncological data (NGS) generated in-house and externally with collaborators. and more....

As a project lead in the computational biology group, my responsibilities included: -Generation of NGS data analysis pipelines. Introduction of new methods into diagnostic workflows. -Creation of workflows for predicting insertions and deletions and large structural variations across whole genome / exome and gene panels. and more....

Some of the projects that i worked on at MPI Biochemistry include: - Study Mitochondrial and cellular Protein Networks. - Generation of RNA-Seq analysis Pipeline on galaxy server. - ChIp-Seq data analysis tools and differential expression analysis pipelines.
