Reporting to the CEO of Dräger Medical, and working with the President of Dräger Japan and the executive team, responsibility was for creating, developing and implementing 153 “Roadmap to Change” projects that included all areas of the business (Finance, Human Resources, Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Customer Support and Management). These projects upon completion improved not only the business, but also the business culture.

I was originally hired as a strategic advisor to the business in January, and immediately offered the position of Director of Strategy, which encompassed strategy development for all businesses owned in the Platinum Private Equity portfolio. In this position I managed the IT and network development departments (5 direct reports), and assisted in most sales and marketing decisions, M&A, as well as business and marketing plans for the companies owned.
