I transitioned into managing the operation of a highly successful mainframe software development company. My role includes strategic direction, developing and hiring staff, developing and negotiating contracts, managing budgets and financial planning. During my tenure, I negotiated the acquisition of two software companies. I brokered an intellectual property partnership with IBM, initiating a market turnaround for these products while continuing to deliver enhancements to the market.

I led the restructuring of 21st Century Software from a boutique software development company to one that had global appeal. This involved restructuring the sales organization to align with the company’s new focus and adding sales and technical sales staff. I was also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company as well as contract development and negotiation, budgets and financial planning, sales forecasting and planning, and sales of all products.
