Chief Facility Officer breathing new life into a tired Department and modernizing a 2.96M square foot University Campus with 78 acres of green space and a replacement value of $917M. Manage a $21M budget and lead a team of 81 employees and 100 outsourced staff. Responsible for building operations, maintenance, construction, utilities management, housekeeping, grounds, space management, and security.

Change agent hired to rebuild under-performing facility management operation for the City of Calgary's 3.25 million square foot portfolio of owned and leased buildings. Focus moved from Departmental performance to resiliency and disaster recovery following 2013 flood. Managed a $41.5M budget and led a team of 120 unionized employees.

Consultant engaged to fix a broken Department operating 10 hospitals and 29 long-term care homes. Success led to appointment as Director and amalgamation of other functions into the Department creating the 4th largest business unit in a 12,000-employee organization. Managed a $40.6M budget and led a team of 750 unionized employees.

Operated a sole practitioner consulting in the field of organizations design and effectiveness. Major clients included the Alberta Workers' Compensation Board (WCB), The Capital Health Authority (CHA), the Commission on Accredited Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and TELUS.

Began career as an Internal Auditor in Burns Foods which owned and operated Palm Dairies which was eventually acquired by Beatrice Foods and later Parmalat Canada. Progressed through a series of increasingly responsible positions including Chief Account in the largest manufacturing plant in their western Canadian operations, divisional controller on a smaller distribution facility and then divisional controller in the largest sales and manufacturing facility in western Canada.
