Über mich
Biologist interested in data analysis for the application of scientific knowledge. I recently finished a PhD in Biological Sciences, where I had the opportunity to learn and apply a wide variety of skills, including biostatistics and molecular biology lab technics. I was particularly drawn to data analysis and quickly improved my informatics' knowledge, developing skills in R and Python and learning how to work in a linux environment. I also developed communication and writing skills by participating in several conferences and publishing results. Working in academia taught me how to be both self-sufficient and a team player, since I worked alongside with other students and researchers, but focussing on my project. I am organized and fast learner and I am always seeking for new challenges to expand my knowledge.
