I am a major contributor to the Instrument Control Software for LINC-NIRVANA, an astronomical interferometric camera, which will be installed at the Large Binocular Telescope. ICS is required on all levels of the instrument hierarchy, from unit- to system level; it forms the core of all control tasks which are essential to the instrument: adaptive optics, infrared camera control, and fringe tracking. LINC-NIRVANA depends on the proper implementation of the Instrument Control Software.
